How we use information

We use information to operate the builder, authenticate users, process imported resumes, generate exports, enforce free-download and paid-plan limits, respond to support requests, and keep the platform secure.

We may also use limited technical and usage information to diagnose failures, improve reliability, detect abuse, and understand where the experience needs product improvements.

How ResumeIQ currently handles builder data

Some editing activity in the current builder experience stays local to your browser session unless you explicitly use account-linked or server-backed flows. That means parts of your drafting experience may not be automatically saved to our servers.

At the same time, the platform architecture does support account records, saved resume records, resume sections and versions, download history, subscription records, and sign-in flows. If you use those features, the related information may be stored in our backend systems.

Third-party services and infrastructure

ResumeIQ may rely on third-party providers for authentication, payments, email delivery, hosting, monitoring, and database infrastructure. Examples reflected in the current product architecture include Google, Firebase, Razorpay, SMTP email services, and managed hosting or database providers.

These providers process data only to the extent necessary to power the related feature. Their own terms and privacy notices may also apply to information they handle.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, investigate misuse, maintain billing records, or support account recovery and audit needs.

If you want us to review a deletion or privacy request tied to your account, email rohitrao1988@gmail.com and include the email address associated with your ResumeIQ account.

Security and access

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect account access, payment-related flows, and stored application data. No internet service can promise absolute security, so you should also protect your own account credentials and device access.

If you believe your account or data has been exposed through ResumeIQ, contact us as soon as possible at rohitrao1988@gmail.com.
