About Us

We built ResumeIQ for people who want a polished resume workflow without extra friction.

ResumeIQ is a focused resume-building product. The goal is simple: help you import or enter your experience, shape it inside a clean editor, switch templates fast, and export a final resume that feels ready to send.

What ResumeIQ focuses on

Builder-first editing, premium template switching, deterministic resume import, and export-ready PDF and Word output.

How the product is built

A Next.js frontend, Express API, Prisma and PostgreSQL data layer, and payment flows through Razorpay.

Why ResumeIQ exists

A lot of resume products feel crowded, confusing, or overly sales-driven. We wanted a calmer workflow where the main job is resume creation itself, not fighting the interface.

That is why ResumeIQ centers the practical steps job seekers actually need: bring in an old resume, refine sections in place, preview changes immediately, and download a cleaner final version.

What makes our approach different

We keep the product grounded in the architecture that supports reliable resume work. The frontend stays fast and visual, while the backend handles authentication, pricing logic, import processing, and export access control.

We also keep pricing intentionally straightforward. The current product uses one-time paid plans with a fixed download limit and validity window rather than an always-on subscription model.

One workspace for import, edit, preview, and export
Template switching without rewriting your content from scratch
Transparent one-time download plans instead of hidden recurring subscriptions
Practical architecture built around Next.js, Express, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and Razorpay

How the workflow fits together

Inside the builder, you can edit contact details, summary, skills, experience, education, projects, certifications, and custom sections while seeing the layout update in real time.

For resume import, the app can parse uploaded PDF, DOCX, and TXT files and map them into structured builder fields. For exports, the app renders PDF and Word output so the same content can be reused across applications.

How we think about trust

Resume products ask for personal and career information, so clarity matters. We try to be explicit about pricing, access limits, authentication options, and where policy or billing information lives.

That is also why we publish separate Contact, Privacy, Terms, and Refund pages directly in the product surface instead of hiding them behind a support trail.

Who ResumeIQ is for

ResumeIQ is built for job seekers, freelancers, career switchers, and professionals who want more control over resume structure and presentation without needing a design tool.

If you want a builder that stays focused on fast editing, clean exports, and transparent purchase logic, that is exactly the lane we are trying to own.
